In Vessels of Time, antique pitchers and objects with their worn, rough textures contrast with delicate fabrics to create an intriguing relationship of mood and form. The free, interpretive use of color and shapes in the backgrounds complement the linear rhythms of leaves and flowers carried over from my earlier pieces.
